This gorgeous wool rug wasmade by members of the Berber tribe fromthe Ourika Valley in the High Atlas mountains. Ourika boucherouite rugs areare hand woven for use in the home using undyed organic wool with Berber motifs.

The nameboucherouite (pronounced'boo-shay-reet”) is derived from a Moroccan-Arabic word that means a 'scrap' because it is madefromexcessyarn and recycled carpets. The result is an extravagant rug that is bright, vibrant, and textured.
